What: Bringing awareness and accountability, Occupy Dallas has responded to a nationwide call for peaceful protests in opposition to the continued collision of political and economic powers that has wrecked the lives of so many ordinary people.
According the group’s website, the occupation will begin Thursday morning, Oct. 6, at 9:00 in Pike Park and remain at the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank indefinitely. An organizing meeting will take place Monday tonight at El Centro College in Dallas. A civil disobedience training session is also scheduled for later in the week.
