Poverty: A Feature, Not a Bug

Notwithstanding his misunderstanding of the role that price inflation has in suppressing productive investment, famed economist Paul Krugman says that economic recovery (for whom, exactly?) is dependent upon a widespread expectation that the core costs for maintaining people’s standards of living will steadily burn up more and more of their financial resources.
