The 2014 Students for Liberty Dallas Regional Conference is being hosted in October on the University of North Texas campus. There is no charge of registration, and attendees will have the chance to meet speakers and other local activists.
Charles Johnson, an ALL co-founder and Senior Fellow at the Center for a Stateless Society, has confirmed to speak and media producer John Papola is the keynote of the day-long conference.

Posted above are some clips of my first open carry demonstration. At Saturday’s event, I didn’t participate by displaying a long gun or holding a sign. I just wanted to go as a bystander. By my count, there were about 155 people, not including about five media organizations and at least a pair of respectful counter-demonstrators.
Granted, I’m still not positive that these type of events promote gun rights, but I still appreciate that so many people are laboring for their rights.
Above is a short clip from the 2014 Global Marijuana March organized by DFW NORML. There were other chants of “freedom.” With thousands in attendance, the sidewalks were so crowded that we eventually stretched into the streets to form a half-mile parade that walked from the Fort Worth Convention Center to the courthouse at Federal Plaza and back.
